Lakeville Community Programs
Panorama Of Progress --
Each year, Lakeville
celebrates Pan-O-Prog, the Panorama of Progress, with more than a
week of activities and special events. Activities include races, picnics,
pet shows, dances, a scholarship pageant, cruise night, fireworks on the
Fourth of July and a grand parade.
Recycling --
Lakeville has an active curbside recycling program. Solid
waste haulers licensed by the City provide recycling collection on the
same day as trash collection. If you move to Lakeville, you can obtain a
recycling bin, along with a brochure that lists acceptable recyclable
items and preparation tips, by visiting City Hall, 20195 Holyoke
Ave. For specific questions, call City Hall (952-469-4431) and
ask for the Recycling Coordinator.
Yard Waste --
Yard waste cannot be mixed with regular trash. You can
compost grass clippings in your own yard, or you can take clippings and
pruning to the yard waste compost facility located in northeast Lakeville.
A small fee is charged. Phone 952-460-8332 for information about
operating hours and location. Solid waste haulers offer separate yard
waste collection for a small fee.
