Chamber Foundation Scholarships

The Lakeville Chamber Foundation, a 501(c)3 charitable organization, focuses on workforce development through scholarships and grants. The Foundation is led by a volunteer Board of Directors. Each year the Foundation raises funds through two main events: Suds for Scholars and the Bowling Tournament Raffle.

 

HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS

Applicant must be a high-school senior in the Lakeville Area School District, ISD 194.  A

Applicant must be: A high-school senior in the Lakeville Area School District, ISD 194.  Applicant must be planning to attend a certified program, trade, technical school, or college in pursuit of an industry specific certification, 2-year or 4-year degree. The deadline to apply for this scholarship is March 31 each year.  Scholarships will be awarded in May of the same year.

CHAMBER MEMBER EMPLOYEE SCHOLARSHIPS

Applicant must be employed with a Lakeville Area Chamber business.  Chamber member must be of current standing with the Chamber.  Applicant must be pursuing  education credits or certification with a qualified program.  The deadline to apply for this scholarship is the last day of each quarter.  Scholarships will be awarded within 60 days of the quarter in which application was received.

IMPACT GRANT

The Lakeville Area Chamber Foundation is pleased to announce its Educational Improvement IMPACT GRANT program.  Grants will be awarded each year in amounts up to $3,000 to support innovative, student-based programs, that include workforce readiness initiatives and/or STEM career exposure, and that have the ability to be replicated or adapted district-wide.  There are two deadlines each year to apply for these grants – April 1 and October 1.  Grants will be awarded by June 1 and December 1 each year.
